Literacy program

Happy National Reading Month! Is the perfect time to provide less fortunate children with the books they need to succeed through the Red Sled Santa Literacy Program.

Our research indicates that nearly 1 in 6 children in the U.S. live at or below the poverty level. One of the barriers that children growing up in low-income families face is the lack of age-appropriate books at home. You can help!

Caring people like you recently helped our RSSF Literacy Program provide 2,500 books to a book giveaway in South Los Angeles, California—home to some of the most underprivileged schools in the Los Angeles area. By getting books into the hands of less fortunate students, teachers, and families, we are helping children become their best selves! Children who have developed strong reading skills perform better in school and have a healthier self-image and a stronger sense of well-being.

With help from our donors, the RSSF Literacy Program has delivered more than 5000 thousand books into the hands of less fortunate children across the country since 2022.

100% of your tax-deductible donation today will go to support community literacy programs like the one in Los Angeles, California.

Help us reach even less fortunate children this year!

Hope is just a book away—your gift today would mean so much with gratitude,

Cortney Lofton
